Rockbridge Sawmill is a division of Welter Forest Products, Inc. We are located in southwestern Wisconsin, approximately 6 miles north of Richland Center, Wisconsin. The mill sits on 18 acres and was originally established by Scott and Teri Sawle in 1983.
Our mission is to produce high-quality hardwood lumber while working to create and sustain excellent working relationships with landowners, customers, and our community.
We offer high-quality hardwood including: Ash, Aspen, Basswood, Butternut, Cherry, Elm, Hickory, Hard and Soft Maple, Red and White Oak, Pine and Walnut. We also offer a variety of by-products including: chips, sawdust, and bark. These by-products are marketed to other industries to be used for paper, wood pellets, animal bedding, boiler fuel, and bark mulch.
Rockbridge Sawmill produces approximately 7 million board feet of sawn product per year. Among the equipment utilized in aide of this endeavor are: a Cleerman Circle-Head Rig and Carriage setup, and a McDonough Horizontal Re-saw with a run-around system.
Rockbridge Sawmill strives to continuously make improvements and better our operation. A large part of that is the continuing upgrades that are being made to meet our future goals and the needs of our customers, both current and future.
